Day 11 - LA County Dept. of Health urges masking when indoors

Mask mandate for LA County continues…

Mask mandate for LA County continues…

7/9/21. Friday

So the WHO issued a global edict that everyone should continue masking.  On the heels of the WHO announcement, the CDC issued a statement that VACCINATED people do NOT need to mask, which means LIARS [people who are NOT vaccinated] also took off their masks.

In keeping with the CDC, Governor Newsom declared that, on 6/15/21, Californians no longer have to wear masks and “vaccinated people can meet indoors without wearing a mask”, which means that the UN-VAXED also took off their masks. Almost immediately, there was a surge in Covid-19 cases throughout the country due to the highly transmissible “Delta” variant that originated in India and is making its way across the United States, slaying the UN-Vaxed.

On today’s date [7/9/21], LA County’s Covid-19 infections among the UN-Vaxed have increased by 400%.  No, that’s not a typo…four HUNDRED percent… and approximately 10 days ago, LA County’s Department of Health urged all residents to mask indoors.

Spoiler Alert: In the coming days [7/11/21], the LA Times will report a new California mask mandate: effective immediately, masks are required for ALL students and teachers, regardless of whether they are vaccinated. On 7/14/21, the Governor will “walk that back” and allow school districts to decide whether masking is needed based on the number of Covid-19 cases in their locality.

On 7/15/21, the LA County Dept. of Health will reinstate the mask mandate: effective 7/17/21, all LA County residents WILL mask indoors. It is unclear why LA County didn’t just say, “OK, start masking…NOW!” [7/15/21]  Why does the new mask mandate go into effect TWO days after the proclamation? Do we need two to three days to prepare?  If yes, for what? I’m sure everyone still has masks lying around… just put them on…  By 7/16/21, infections in LA County will have increased by 500%.

On 7/16/21, and this is very odd to me, the LA Times will report that “elderly” VACCINATED senior citizens – what exactly is the definition of “elderly?” - and/or immuno-compromised should mask wherever they go in order to avoid contracting Covid-19. Even if they’re vaccinated! Hmmm…why?  I thought the vaccine was effective…for everyone.  Children 12 years and under are also told to mask because they are not eligible for the vaccine, which makes sense because they’re not vaccinated. Why are VAXED senior citizens told to continue with Covid-19 protocols?

A new headline reads [7/16/21] “The increase in Covid-19 cases are largely affecting UN-vaccinated patients.”  “Largely?”  What the hell does that mean? Why doesn’t the headline read, “Covid-19 cases are spiking among the UN-Vaxed population”?  Using the word “largely” leaves room for speculation.  Are VACCINATED people also contracting Covid-19?

And, finally, what is almost NEVER addressed in any great detail is the question: “How long will the vaccine protect us?” Big pharma Pfizer  [corrupt] says we need a booster ASAP.  Tony Faucci [corrupt] says, “Nothing to see here, folks. A booster is unnecessary at this time.”  Remember when he told us NOT to wear masks?  And then said we would reach herd immunity at 70% The CDC [corrupt] seconds Faucci’s PSA [public service announcement]. Remember when the CDC told us NOT to wear masks?

You be the judge…it’s impossible to definitively know the best way to protect ourselves and our loved ones. We are on our own on this sinking ship…

-------

8:00 – 8:30 – I’m up, but it’s sooo difficult to get out of bed this morning. I weigh 99 pounds today – the tortellini I ate for lunch yesterday may have been the culprit.

L. leaves for work.

8:30 –9:00 -  I go downstairs to say good morning to the dog and re-establish our morning routine. She’s still asleep so I wake her up by rubbing her tummy. Then, she grabs her toy and we go outside. I make my coffee and go upstairs.

9:00-9:45 – Shower. Lotion. Covid-19 uniform. Light make-up. I listen to Martinis and Your Money.

9:45 – 10:00 – I grab my lunch bag and leave for my therapy appointment.

10:00-10:30 – It’s a good session, but neither of us mask and there is no airflow in her office. I’m starting to feel uncomfortable – the LA County Dept. of Public Health is urging us to mask inside…

10:30 – 11:00 – I drive to Goodwill so I can drop off several boxes of books that my Mom gave me. A sign says they are at ‘max capacity’ and unable to take any items.  Hmmm…the same thing happened at the start of the pandemic in 2020… I listen to To Live and Die in LA.

11:00-11:30 – I try another Goodwill on the opposite side of town…it’s closed, too.

11:30-12:00 – I give up and drive home. Continue with To Live and Die in LA.

12:00-12:30 – I “publish” today’s content for my Summer class. This is the easiest class I’ve ever taught.

12:30-1:30 -  L.’s homemade tomato soup has been sitting in the fridge for several days, but I think it’s still okay. I puree it in the Nutri Bullet and eat it with a few potato chips. I read Assume Nothing.

1:30-2:30 – Continue with Assume Nothing.

2:30-5:30 – Blog posts.

5:30-6:30 – I take a nap.

L. returns from work.

6:30-7:00 – Light packing for my upcoming Vegas trip.

7:00-7:30 – I take the dog for a walk.

7:30-9:30 – Continue with Assume Nothing. This book is really good. I have a glass of champagne.

9:30-10:30 – I do a 15-minute Kathy Smith Ab workout, then switch to Insanity – Core Cardio and Balance. I think that glass of champagne did me in.  My body hurts and I quit after 40 minutes. Recover and more champagne.

10:30-1:00 – Blog posts.

1:00-2:00 – Nighttime routine. Bed.
