Day 1 - Mask mandate RESCINDED; we do NOT need to mask indoors

B. scores a wooden pallet at a grocery store…this is for my garden project…

If you have diabetes, obesity, or high B/P you’re f—ked when it comes to Omicron.  As a US citizen, you’re not truly American until you’ve encountered at least one of these co-morbidities and been labeled fat, lazy, and out-of-shape.  It’s the American way…like baseball, apple pie, guns, and obesity. Everyone knows Americans are fat. The only problem is that Covid 19 /Delta/Omicron/BA2 is attracted to these co-morbidities, so much so that most of the 1 million Americans who’ve died from Covid had these underlying factors. Don’t forget old age and being black.

In other news, the NFL doesn’t give a shit about any of this and dismissed all Covid protocols today…in other words, more denial on a mass scale.

3/4/22. Friday

8:00-8:30 – I’m up so I go downstairs to say good morning to the animal.  She’s still asleep on the couch so I sit next to her and rub her tummy until she sits up and is ready to go outside. I give the dog her toy and we go outside where I stand around waiting for her to go potty. It’s cold and wet today. Return inside and I chop up a square of cheese for her treat.

8:30-9:30 – I try to get some reading in, but I don’t like the book I selected.

9:30-11:30 – Blog posts.

11:30-12:00 – I make two pieces of gluten-free almond butter toast.  I consider taking the dog for a walk, but dismiss the idea.  Too cold.

12:30-1:30 – Shower. I sit in the shower, drink my coffee, and ice my eyes. Lotion. I change into workout clothes.

2:00-5:00 – B. arrives with this really cool, wooden pallet he was able to obtain for me from a grocery store for free.  He also found two boxes of Minute Maid instant rice that I had difficulty locating. We talk politics for awhile. B. leaves.

5:00-6:00 – I check email at College No. 1

6:00-7:00 – L. brought back leftovers from Marios after her stay with T. at the Mission Inn and she says I can have her pasta. I read more of the same book I can’t stand while I have lunch. Pass on the book.

7:00-7:20 – I do a 15-minute Insanity Max – Ab workout.

7:20-8:00 – I do a 30-minute Insanity Max – Strength workout.

8:00-9:30 – Blog posts.

9:30-11:00 – L. and I watch Episode 3 of Yellowjackets.

11:00-12:00 – I make a batch of Greek yogurt, diced apples, chopped walnuts, and honey for breakfast the rest of the week, then ready my coffee for tomorrow. Kitchen duty.

12:00-1:00 – I sweep the downstairs, unpack my Wine.com order, and break down the boxes. I switch out one of the couch slipcovers for a fresh one and put it in the washing machine.

2:00-2:30 – I cut strips of Velcro and fasten the strips to various sections of the stairs in my never-ending quest to fix the stairrunner.

2:30-3:00 – Nighttime routine. Bed.  I set my alarm for 6:00.
