Day 30 - CDC recommends all J&J patients get a booster after 2 months

Grading papers…

11/19/21. Friday

8:30-9:00 –My alarm goes off and class is already in session, so I go downstairs to greet the animal. She’s been sleeping on our loveseat more recently and I couldn’t figure out why until I see the sun streaming in through the window and hitting the exact location where she is on her back. Hmmmm…she’s smarter than I thought. I sit next to her and rub her tummy for a few minutes and then we go outside. I check my plants while she goes potty. Return inside: coffee for me, sugar cookie pieces for her. I go to work.

9:00-10:30 – This is how all online classes should run. I can’t quite believe it, but I’m not contacted by a single student during class time. It only took 12 weeks, but finally, blessedly, I’m left alone.

10:30-11:30 – I scramble two eggs and add cheese and tomatoes.  Then, shower. Lotion. Covid-19 uniform.

11:30 – 12:00 - I drive to my therapy session and put my make-up on in the car.

12:00-12:30 – Therapy session. It goes well.

12:30-1:30 – I drive to Michaels and buy frames for L.’s telephone pole project because she asked me to mount them in her studio. I use my teacher’s discount to buy 5 frames. B. gave me a box of trail mix packets the other day, so I eat one of those.

1:30-2:00 – Return home.

2:00-3:00 – Bullet journal.

3:00-3:30 – One of L.’s black-and-white rugs arrived, so I unpack it and place it under her drafting table.

3:30-5:00 – I frame 5 of L.’s telephone pole photos.  This task is more difficult than I thought.  I only measured one of the photographs because I thought they were all the same size and bought frames accordingly. But when I get home, I realize the photos are different sizes. I have some black construction paper lying around, so I put that behind the photographs and make the adjustments that way. Then, I pull out my ladder and hang the grouping.

5:00-6:00 – I have the last of L.’s potato soup – it’s truly on its last legs – and read The Lazy Genius.

6:00-7:30 – I return to Kohls to take advantage of the Kohls cash I earned yesterday. I have $30 Kohls cash AND a 30% Kohls coupon. The 30% coupon expires tomorrow so I need to use it ASAP. The bras I purchased yesterday are a great fit so I buy 5 more of the same style and size and another workout outfit.

7:30 –8:00 – I drive to the Home Depot across town and pick up the additional spools of chain I ordered for my garage chain divider DIY project. The Home Depot closest to my house didn’t have this model of chain.

8:00-8:30 – I drive to CVS because I have a 30% CVS coupon, a $10 coupon, and a $5 coupon that expires the next day.  I use these coupons to purchase a few make-up items for my 2022 inventory.

8:30-9:00 – Driving home.

9:00-1:00 – I grade the Group 1 - Socratic Seminar essays I received on Monday from the students in Specialty Class 1A at College No. 1. I’ve long since tracked my time regarding grading these assignments and it takes me an hour per paper, on average. No matter what I do, I can’t increase the time…and I’ve tried everything.  This is the standard.

1:00-1:30 – Kitchen duty and I ready my coffee for tomorrow.

1:30-2:00 – Nighttime routine. Bed. No workout today.
