Day 31 - LA County enters yellow tier

More painting…

More painting…

Wednesday. 6/2/21.

8:00–10:30 -  I’m up with terrible cramps. Take Advil and return to bed. I listen to Organize 365 and fall back asleep for the next 2½ hours.

10:30–12:30 - I wake up feeling so much better. I weigh 98. 5 pounds today. Dress in Covid-19 uniform. Wash face, brush teeth. Downstairs to greet the animal and she’s already up and waiting me, tail wagging. She rolls over on her back so I can rub her tummy three times, then she grabs her toy and we head outside. The dog goes potty and we return inside. Rotten salmon-salad for her; coffee for me. I go to work aka I enter my home office.

-I check emails at both colleges, take attendance at College No. 2, and finally finish my summer Syllabus for the class I have in July. Now, I just need to record it. I read New York Times excerpts along the way because I get the headlines and a few basic articles for free through College No. 1. I listen to The Daily.

-I send an email blast and post an Announcement to the Home Page for both classes, reminding my students that next week’’s Final is due by next Friday, NOT Sunday, as usual, because the last day of the semester is on Friday.

-I check Review Snap at College No. 2 to see if my evaluation is finished it’s not.

12:30 – 2:00 – I have some of my leftover lasagna from last night’s dinner and read The Push. I really like this book! It’s a novel - something different for me, although I read novels on occasion.

2:00-3:00 – I’m exhausted.  I turn on the air conditioner and read a Money Diary.

3:30-4:30 – Feeling a bit more revived, I have two Sees candies, then do the Insanity workout that I was unable to complete last night. I finish the workout, although I have to stop and rest a few times. Also, during some of the sections, I’m going pretty slowly…BUT, I don’t quit and go the distance.

5:00-6:00 – Shower. Lotion. Covid-19.

6:30-7:30 – I read The Push.

8:15-8:45 - I take the dog for a walk. I listen to Cheat. This is a podcast about the 2015 Georgia teachers cheating scandal. Numerous school districts changed the answers on their students’ standardized tests so their schools would look better and 12 teachers were eventually convicted of racketeering. One of the teachers was sentenced to 20 years.

9:00 – 1:30 - I do paint prep, then paint the garage. I finish the entire right side of the garage, but it definitely needs a second coat. There are a few sections of trim left that also need to be painted. I listen to Alligator Candy while I work.

-At 11:00, I’m feeling kind of sick and light-headed. I’m not sure if it’s the paint fumes, the fact that I haven’t eaten much today, etc. As usual, the garage door is open and I’m double-masked. I don’t want to fall off the ladder, so I take a break and have the rest of my lasagna. I know I’m going to pay for this, weight-wise, tomorrow. I read The Push while I eat.

-By 11:30, I’m feeling much better and resume painting. More Alligator Candy

-Clean up and get everything ready for another day of painting. I reinstall the two light switch covers I painted the other day.

1:30-2:15 – Kitchen duty.  I take the dog outside and lock up.

2:15–4:00 -I catch up on blog posts.

4:00-5:00 - Nighttime routine. Bed. I listen to The Cost of Care.
