Day 32 - CDC recommends all J&J patients get a booster after 2 months
Grading more papers…
11/21/21. Sunday
L. leaves for her private art lesson with her student. After the lesson, she will spend the next 7 hours at the Art Studio.
-10:00-12:00 – I’m up and switch immediately to the chair in my room so I can update my bullet journal.
12:00-1:00 – I do a spot clean of my bathroom and straighten my room; then
– I finally make it downstairs to say good morning to the animal. I took too long and my reward is two pieces of poop next to the front door (sigh). I guess I had that coming. I sit next to the dog for kisses and cuddles and rub her tummy repeatedly. Finally, we head outside. The yard looks so great after the 4 hours that I spent gardening. The dog goes potty and we return inside: coffee for me and broken pieces of sugar cookies for her.
1:00-2:00 – I go straight to the garage, cut the next reel of chain into sections, and hang the strands from the soffit.
2:00 – 3:00 – Upstairs and I take a shower. Lotion. Covid-19 uniform. Light make-up.
3:00-4:00 – Grade papers from the students in Group 2.
4:00-7:00 – I listen to the Chapter 11 lecture for Specialty Class 1A at College No. 1 and spend this time scanning the 12 papers that I graded from Group 1, emailing them to the students, and posting grades. After the Chapter 11 lecture is over, I revise the corresponding Chapter Review quiz.
-L. returns from work.
7:00-10:00 – B. picks up a rice bowl from L&L Hawaiian Barbecue and stops by to tell me all about his Ireland trip. It sounds fun and he had a great time. B. leaves.
10:00-12:00 – I finish grading the Group #2 papers. Then, I scan them and post grades. While I’m scanning, I listen to the Chapter 14 AUDIO lecture and check for edits because my highschoolers will be listening to it on Wednesday. There are a few issues with lecture and L. will have to splice-and-dice it and update images on 5 Google slides.
12:00 – 12:30 – L. is available and updates the Google slides.
1:00-2:00 – I ready course content for tomorrow’s lecture (in the Canvas shell) and adjust my script in anticipation of tomorrow’s F2F lecture. I grade the last of the Socratic Seminar assignments.
2:00-2:30 – Kitchen duty and I prepare my lunch bag. I have leftovers from the Hawaiian bowl that B. brought over so I pack that.
2:30-5:00 – I start reading Set Boundaries, but accidentally fall asleep.
5:00-5:30 – Nighttime routine. Bed.
