“Concerts in the Park”…

“Concerts in the Park”…

8/28/21. Saturday

6:30- My alarm goes off, but I lie in bed for another 15 minutes. Yet another vendor is coming, so I need to get up.

6:45-7:00 – Downstairs and the dog is out of it.  I sit next to her and rub her tummy until she wakes up and I’m able to coax her outside. She goes potty and then I pick up the dog poop on the Astroturf. Back inside and pieces of turkey burger for her; coffee for me. I go upstairs.

7:00-8:00 – Shower. Lotion. Covid-19 uniform. Light make-up.

8:00-10:30 – I hose down the Astroturf, then sweep the patio and trim all of my plants.  After, I water my plants.

10:30 – I1:00 – I take the dog for a walk.

11:00-12:00 – The Door vendor is here and he takes measurements for the two interior garage doors. I have two of the gourmet cinnamon, frosted-icing cookies that L. purchased yesterday.

12:00 – 1:30 - I do an Insanity-Cardio Ab workout, then a 1-hr Insanity - Max Interval workout.

1:30-2:00 – Freshen up and change into a T-shirt, yoga pants, and tennis shoes.

2:00-3:00 – I eat my leftover fish tacos and read Testament. Then, I pack my lunch bag for dinner, tonight.

3:00-4:30 – Blog posts

4:30-5:00 – I straighten my room.

5:00-9:00 – B. picks me up and we go to Central Park for the last “Concerts in the Park” series, featuring The Rolling Stones.

9:00-9:30 -  Return home.  L. tells me that we have to take her car to the transmission shop TOMORROW because the transmission shop is the only mechanic open on Sundays that L. could find.

It should be noted there is nothing wrong with L.’s transmission. In fact, the car has been running rough ever since Trident Auto “fixed” the suspension 4 days ago.  I don’t operate this way.  If a mechanic fails to repair the car, then that mechanic needs to fix the job…for free. You don’t take the car to ANOTHER shop and pay for the same repair.  L. says she’s desperate because Trident is closed on Sunday and L. has school on Monday. Great.

9:30-10:00 – B. removes a TV brace from L.’s wall – it was bolted to the wall and L. and I didn’t have the correct socket wrench.

10:00-11:00 – B. and I watch an episode of Homecoming. B. leaves.

11:00-1:00 – L. and I watch Married at First Sight.

1:00-2:00 – Nighttime routine. Bed.
