Day 13 - Mask mandate RESCINDED. We do NOT need to mask indoors
3/16/22. Wednesday
6:30-6:45 – My alarm goes off but I stay in bed
6:45-7:00 – I go downstairs to say good morning to the animal. She’s still asleep on the couch, so I pet her tummy and then cue her to go outside. She grabs her tennis ball and we head to the patio. I wait for her to do her business and we return inside. Coffee for me, cheese for her. I go upstairs.
7:00-8:00 – Shower. I sit in the shower, drink my coffee, and ice my eyes. Lotion. I put on my red LuLu Lemon leggings, a sports bra, and a T-back, black tank top. I ready my lunch bag and slice an apple for L., per her request.
8:00-9:30 – L. and I drive to Beach Cycle in Santa Monica. The traffic is horrible.
9:30-10:30 – “Ethan” is the Beach Cycle instructor, but he’s not as good as Eric. Nevertheless, it’s a great workout and it’s wonderful doing spin cycle on the beach, in the open air, and watching the waves come in. I love the Golden State.
10:30-11:00 – L. needs gas and we drive around dirty Venice looking for the cheapest gas station. It’s disgusting here.
11:00-12:00 – L. gives me a tour of the city of Playa Vista and points out where Loyola Marymount is located. This city is absolutely beautiful…I wouldn’t mind selling my house and buying a condo here.
12:00-12:30 – L. has to use the bathroom, so we stop by Otis. L. tells me that Otis went to Unisex bathrooms, but converted most of the “Women’s Restrooms” to the Unisex bathrooms. In other words, all of the “Men’s Restrooms” remain open, there are now several “Unisex Restrooms”, and TWO “Women’s Restrooms” are left, which is absolutely bullshit. Why are the Men’s Restrooms preserved?
12:30-1:30 – L. and I drive to Geoffreys for our lunch reservation. Nobody masks other than a few staff members, but we’re seated outside, looking at the ocean.
1:30-3:00 – We order the poke for an appetizer and I have the poke bowl for my entrée. L. gets the Acai Bowl and I have a glass of prosecco.
3:00-4:30 – Return home and we listen to Spooked and Best of Both Worlds.
4:30-5:00 – Back in town and L. and I stop by Undergrounds for coffee. Nobody is masked.
5:00-5:30 – Home. I bring in my bags, then arrange L.’s flower arrangement (purchased by T. yesterday).
6:00-9:00 – bullet journal and I’m caught up with my entries. I listen to Death, Sex, and Money; Organize 365; the Productive Woman; and What a Day
9:00-10:00 – Kitchen duty and I pack my lunch bag.
11:30-12:00 – Nighttime routine. Bed.
