Day 16 - Mask mandate RESCINDED. We do NOT need to mask indoors
3/19/22. Saturday
8:00-8:30 – I lie in bed.
8:30-8:45 – I start a load of laundry then go downstairs and say good morning to the dog. She’s still asleep, but rolls over on her back so I can pet her tummy. I note that she pooped near the doggie door (sigh). I cue her to go outside, she grabs her toy, and we head to the patio. I survey the yard and look at my plants while she goes potty, then return inside: coffee for me, cheese for her. I go upstairs.
8:45-9:30 – Blog posts.
9:30-10:15 – I do a 30-minute, Insanity Max – Tabata Strength workout.
10:15-11:30 – Shower. Spa Day. I wash my hair. Lotion. I paint my toenails and apply a Crest strip. Blow dry my hair. Light make-up. Jeans, a boho pink shirt, and my wedge shoes.
11:30-2:00 – B. arrives and we go to brunch at Olive Terrace. Nobody is masking, but this place is still offering outdoor seating, which I really appreciate. I have the Italian Eggs in Purgatory [kind of funny title] and 2 glasses of champagne. We stop by Home Depot so I can return two chair rails that L. no longer needs for her framing project. Nobody is masking here.
2:00-9:30 – Back at B.s house and we continue brunch and talk politics. I suggest a new series called Severance, but it’s lackluster at best.
9:30-10:30 – B. drives me home and I go straight to bed after doing my nighttime routine. I’m exhausted, but it might be a combination of the moon hike and yesterday’s workout.
Nighttime routine. Bed.
