Day 37-BA5 takes the lead

My Striders group met at West Creek park tonight…

7/28/22. Thursday

4:30-L. leaves for her shift at The Club.

9:30-10:00-I wash my face, brush my teeth, and put on a sun dress.

10:00-10:45-I take the dog outside. Cheese for her and I make a cup of coffee. Kitchen duty.

10:45-12:00-I eat the remaining donut that B. brought over yesterday for patio coffee while I water my plants and soak the beds.

12:00-12:30-bullet journal.

12:30-3:30- I call Mr. Cooper, my mortgage company, and ask why my fixed mortgage payment has increased. Turns out, I had an escrow shortage AND my hazard insurance increased simultaneously so I owe an additional $17.77. I have glass noodles for lunch.

-I log the Discussion Board participation entries and compile the grades for Online Class No. 2. I take Attendance then go through the gradebook concerning last week’s assignments and note who didn’t complete them, who scored low on the quizzes, and who didn’t take the Midterm. Then, I send a personalized email to approximately 30 students updating them as to their overall grade in the class and admonishing them if they scored low on the Video Quiz and/or the Midterm. I tell the students the last day to drop with a W is rapidly approaching.

-I check my personal email.

3:30-4:00-I check my BofA accounts.

4:00-4:45-I order the book Roar from Amazon, google the address for my Striders meeting place tonight, and check performingartslive.com to see if there’s an upcoming local theatre performance.

4:45-5:15-I have more glass noodles and read Like a Mother.

5:15-6:00-I take a nap.

6:00-6:30-I freshen up, change into Athletic Housewife attire, and leave.

6:30-7:30-Tonight, the Striders are meeting at Westcreek Park near Rio Norte Junior High. I walk by myself these days because I prefer it. This particular paseo is so nice - I don’t think I’ve seen it before. It’s always special when I discover a new, secret part of my community.

7:30-8:00 - I drive to Target and eat some yogurt in my car.

8:00-9:05 - in light of inflation and the supply chain problem, Target’s sales are down this quarter, resulting in too much inventory on hand. Target announced that they had to discount much of their merchandise, specifically clothes, in order to move the inventory out. In accordance with my Athletic Housewife curated closet project, I buy two bikini bottoms, two pairs of athletic shorts, and one tank top. I also purchase a concealer and a lipstick “crayon.” Spoiler Alert: the concealer is the wrong shade and I end up returning it.

9:05-9:30-Drive home.

9:30-10:30- I read Like a Mother.

10:30-12:30-Bullet journal.

1:00-3:30-Kitchen duty and I make two salads and ready my coffee. Unfortunately, I start eating my leftover Thai food because I’m starving. Everything tastes so good! I eat leftover saffron rice and chicken, glass noodles, and the pork dish. I know I will pay for this tomorrow.

3:30-4:00- I tweek course content and try to update the Modules but I’m half asleep so not sure if I’m doing it right. I’ll check first thing tomorrow morning.

4:00-4:30 - Nighttime routine. Bed.
