9/18/22. Sunday
8:00-9:30-I’m up, but I lie in bed and read Afterlife for the new Books and Brews blook club I signed up for at our local library.
9:30-10:30-Blog post
11:30-1:00-I sit in the shower, ice my eyes, and wash my hair. Then, I blow dry my hair. I put on lotion and a short-sleeved dress, black with cream colored mini-squares all over it. Garden Society Member.
1:00-4:30-B. and I go to the Museum of Jurassic Technology. This is a more refined version of the Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum in Vegas. I really like this museum, but, and this is so odd (to me), the male receptionist at the front desk is wearing a dress…he also has a beard….
4:30-6:30-B. and I have reservations at Etta, a referral from L. The food is amazing! I get the sausage pasta and two glasses of champagne, then B. and I split the chocolate mousse which comes with a dollop of banana cream pudding, which is incredible. I eat everything and have almost no leftovers.
6:30-7:30-We drive into town and stop at Ralphs so I can buy mini cans of 7-up for B’s 7&7 drinks.
7:30-9:00-B. and I return to my house and talk politics. He leaves fairly early because he has plans tomorrow, with his daughter, to go to the Academy Museum.
9:00-11:00-I take a nap; then
11:20-11:30-I check headlines.
11:30-1:15-L. finished editing the Chapter 6-Part I transcription for that crazy OSD bitch but I noticed that the slides were off. It appears that L. missed several edits so I have to edit it myself, thereby doing double work for both of us.
1:15-1:40-I pull up the Video Quiz and manually type it into a Word document because that OSD bitch gets preferential treatment and I have to email her all of the content.
2:00-2:30-I compile the course content for the week and email all of it, individually, to that crazy OSD bitch.
2:30-3:00-I check email. Accounting, from College No. 1 emailed me the Cash Balance forms that I needed to backdate so I print them out. This is similar to the packet of new hire forms that people have to complete, except I’m not a hew hire - I’ve been working at College No. 1 for 22 years and want to retire. I’m instructed to backdate said forms to 2003 because I never signed them at time of hire.
-A student submitted a draft Socratic Seminar assignment so I print it out and set it aside for edits and comments.
3:00-3:15-I log into Canvas at College No. 2 and post content for this week’s Module of assignments for my online high school students.
3:15-4:15-Nighttime routine. Bed
